A Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner (LIMHP), Angie’s vision for opening ReVive stemmed from over 15 years working in the mental health field. Angie received her Master’s Degree from the University of Louisville and completed her clinical hours in Utah. She has worked in a variety of clinical settings to include both government health care and non-profit systems and has extensive knowledge in a variety of different treatment designs and processes.
One of Angie’s strength’s is trauma and crisis intervention. She is trained in several evidence-based therapeutic interventions to help with common emotional stressors including, trauma, depression, and anxiety. She is also skilled in suicide risk assessments and passionate about awareness and prevention.
Angie has held several roles in which she worked to design and implement new programs and processes to improve the delivery of mental health services. Through these experiences, along with her belief that mental health should be available and accessible to all people, ReVive came together. Her hope is to use her experiences to create a practice within our community that focuses on breaking down the stigma of mental health and shifting the perception that the mind is somehow separate from the body, allowing for treatment that is compassionate and individualized focused on patient specific goals.
Angie is the proud mom of three amazing girls and enjoys her free time with them and enjoying all things “summer” and on the water, in addition to being a “human taxi” to every event and activity her girls are involved in.
